Community Links

One of the good things about belonging to a club is meeting new people but joining a Lions Club literally opens up a whole new world of friends. There are Lions Clubs the world over so no matter where you are visiting there will always be a club nearby who would love  to see you.

One of the Hayling Island members recently spent a holiday in USA and contacted the Atlanta Lions Club where she was immediately invited to join them at their dinner meeting. It gave them a chance to find out how a British Club in a small town operates as compared to a club in a large American City. Irrespective of the size of the location of a club  it was obvious that wherever you are  our motto 'We Serve' is foremost in peoples minds and their members carried out events and gave donations to their community just the same as we do.
